Bushing and Marcan, amongst many other contributors, have released beta 7 of the Homebrew Channel. It features all of the teasers seen in the preview video, including a custom banner, integrated TCP loading, and automatic updates. This release includes the standard .ELF file, as well as installation ISOs for each Wii region.

From the release notes:
Quote
We're proud to present the first public version of The Homebrew Channel, beta 7.

Without further ado, please visit the channel's homepage for more information and downloads.

Yeah, this is totally amazing and all, but how do you add your own apps to it? I was able to install the package apps to it, and it's real sweet, but what if I want to add some emulators etc.? I tried adding some of the available emus on wiibrew by creating directories in the apps folder and making meta.XML files for each one, but they still don't show up when I run HBC. Any advice/do you have to use a gecko loader or something??

Just to note, I used Imgburn to burn the iso and had a huge number of errors during the verification.
I stopped the verification and the installer worked in my Wii with no issues.
You may want to turn off the verification in Imgburn when creating the installation DVD.

You must rename the .elf file to boot.elf for the app you are adding.  You don't need the xml or .png file for it to find the app and let you run it.
