Is there anymore information available on this?  I have a Wii with a D2C modchip in it that works great for backed up games.  I burnt  paldvdplayermfe.dvd (paldvdplayermfe.000) with CloneCD to a good quality blank DVD at 1x. (I hear the slower the better with Wii backups.)

Is there something else I'm missing?  I put this burn DVD into my Wii and the disc channel shows a GameCube game.  I click start and then I get, "An error has occurred.  Press the Eject Button, remove the Game Disc, and turn the power off.  Please read the Wii operations manual for more information."

So do I need something else?

"Slower the better" is not always true. The type of media, speed of media, type of burner, firmware on the burner, etc. all play parts. Try burning again at a higher speed.

Do other burns work?

Yes, I've tried burning at varying speeds.  All of my backup games work.  I haven't had a single problem since I got my D2C key.  So I'm not missing a step?

Have you tried booting from within GCOS?

AH ha! I knew there was something else.  I don't know what that is or how to do it. Could you please direct me to where I can get more information on how to do that?

Ok, so after reading up on that as much as I can, I'm still confused (as I'm sure others are because I consider myself mildly versed in mod-chip mechanics).

So I have a Wii.  That .rar file you linked extracts to a .dol and .exe file.  From what I see on the net, this is for running multiple GC games on the same disc.

Also, it appears I need a memory card.  I have an SD card that can go in the front of my Wii.  Again, still at a loss for information.  Are there no tutorials or something that can help me set up my Wii to play DVD Movies with a D2C key?

I'm not sure. Huh?

I am pretty sure the D2C can run MFE Media Player, but I do not truly know if it can play this.
